Henson Agency serves Missouri and Kansas clients with personal, property, specialty, and business insurance guidance from our Liberty, Missouri office, including local resources for Blue Springs insurance.
Our Story
Henson Insurance Agency was founded in 2006 as a natural extension of our work in home financing. After opening 360 Mortgage in 2004, we saw how closely homeownership, financing, property risk, and insurance decisions interact. Building an insurance agency gave us a way to help clients protect the homes, vehicles, rentals, businesses, and other assets they worked to build.
Today, Henson Agency serves clients across Missouri and Kansas from our office at 212 W Mill St, Liberty, MO 64068. Our focus is practical insurance guidance, responsive service, and helping clients understand what a policy actually covers before a claim tests it.

We start with the actual risk rather than a generic quote. That means understanding the property, vehicles, ownership, household drivers, business activity, claims history, deductibles, liability needs, and other details that affect coverage. We then explain the available options and tradeoffs in plain language.
Clients often work with us when buying a home, adding a vehicle, turning a home into a rental, reviewing an insurance renewal, changing ownership, adding a teen driver, starting a business, or simply wanting a second look at existing coverage.

Henson Agency is a Farmers Insurance Group captive agency and can provide Farmers products and servicing. Depending on the risk and available programs, the agency also works with affiliated or additional carrier options such as Foremost, Bristol West, Kraft Lake, and Progressive. Coverage availability and eligibility depend on underwriting and the specific policy requested.
Why the Agency Exists
Our goal is straightforward: help clients make informed insurance decisions, keep coverage aligned as life changes, and provide a local person to call when questions arise. We would rather explain the differences between two policies than have a client discover those differences after a loss.
